01Who we are

These terms apply to compliance.kragos.app. The B-BBEE scorecard platform at makty.kragos.app has its own sign-in and its own terms, which apply when you use it. Our other products are offered on request, and their terms are agreed with you when access is set up.

02What the website is for

The website explains our consulting and software for B-BBEE, Employment Equity, Skills Development and Learnerships, ESG, CSI and SED, and Carbon and Emissions.

The information is general guidance. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not replace advice on your own facts. Laws, codes and deadlines change. Check the official source before you act.

03Estimates and self-checks

The scorecard estimate gives an indicative result only. It is not a B-BBEE certificate, a sworn affidavit or a verification, and it leaves out bonus points and simplifies sub-minimums. Your B-BBEE level is set by a SANAS-accredited verification agency, or by sworn affidavit for qualifying EMEs and QSEs.

The Can you bid? check lists documents public tenders usually ask for. It cannot tell you whether a bid will succeed, and it does not replace the returnable list in the tender itself.

Both run in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored.

04What we do and do not do

• We consult, and we provide products that automate compliance.
• SANAS-accredited verification agencies verify B-BBEE. We do not verify, certify or issue certificates.
• We do not give tax advice or prepare tax returns.
• We do not create, sell or claim carbon credits or offsets.
• Accounting, tax and regulatory services are not offered.

05Engagements

Consulting work is agreed in writing. Each engagement has its own scope, quote and terms, and those terms take precedence over these for that work. Where we use specialist delivery partners, we name them to you in your engagement letter.

06Links to other sites

We link to regulators, official portals and our own product sites. We are not responsible for the content or availability of sites we do not run.

07Intellectual property

The website content, our product names and the KRAGOS mark belong to their owner. You may share links and quote short passages with attribution. Do not copy the site or its tools for commercial use without written permission.

08Liability

We take care to keep the website accurate and current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website information or on an estimate or self-check result. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
