Platform 03 ยท SETA-track
Know every learner is real, enrolled once and paid.
Learnership spend counts on your scorecard and in your WSP and ATR. It is only as good as the evidence behind each learner. The tracker follows each one from registration to completion and flags possible duplicate registrations for you to check.
Why it matters
23 554
learners the Auditor-General found in more than one SETA, 2022-23.
The same review found learners reported in more than one year, learners older than 65, deceased learners and ID numbers not on the Home Affairs register. None of this says anything about any particular employer. It shows why learner-level evidence matters.
What it does
The learner record, from three sides
- Registration. Each learner, agreement and programme, recorded once by the lead employer and the provider.
- Attendance and stipends. Evidence that the learner attended and was paid, kept against the agreement.
- Duplicate flags. A possible duplicate registration is flagged with the SETAs checked named on the result.
- Spend evidence. Skills development, YES and SED spend kept with the learner records it relates to.
The rules it keeps
A flag to check, never a fraud finding
A match is a flag to check, never a fraud finding; every result names the SETAs checked. The tracker does not claim a national clearance of any learner.
It is designed to support clean, consistent submissions into SETA systems, shown today on synthetic data. It does not replace them and has no live connection to them.
Shown on synthetic data. No live integration with a SETA or state system is claimed.
Who it is for
Three readers of the same record
Each side sees the part of the record it is responsible for.
