KRAGOS KRAGOS Compliance

Small business ยท EME and QSE

Turnover of R50 million or less? Start with two questions.

Which B-BBEE route applies to you, and what will the tender ask for? Bids often fail on paperwork before price is looked at: a CSD profile with an open item, a form left unsigned. An expired affidavit usually scores no preference points.

Two checks before you call anyone

Both run on this page's own code. Nothing is sent or stored, and neither replaces the tender's own returnable list or a verification agency.

Where we help

The three things small businesses ask us for

  1. B-BBEE route and affidavit. Confirm EME or QSE on your latest financial year and take you through the official template. B-BBEE consulting
  2. Tender documents in order. CSD, tax status, SBD forms, COIDA and the B-BBEE evidence the tender scores on. Tender readiness
  3. Skills and youth spend. Learnerships and YES placements planned so they count, with the evidence kept. Skills and learnerships

Worth knowing

An expired affidavit usually scores nothing

Sworn affidavits and certificates are valid for 12 months. An expired one usually scores no preference points for B-BBEE; follow the tender's own requirements on what it accepts. Diarise the renewal three months ahead.
