For mines
Mining Charter commitments and the B-BBEE scorecard
The Mining Charter 2018 is policy rather than binding law after the 2021 High Court ruling, but commitments written into a mining right still apply. The B-BBEE scorecard platform does not compute the Mining Charter; we work it with you as consultants and keep the evidence alongside your other regimes.
As at November 2026. Mining law reform is still in draft; confirm the current position before relying on it.
